Why do grooming and hoof care matter?
Before training
Suggested checklist: inspect the horse, clean visible dirt, check hooves and read any injury or health indicators. Use the game’s treatment instructions for the observed condition.
Keep recovery separate
Record the condition, treatment and dates instead of assuming every injury has the same recovery time. Current exact durations and treatment costs remain UNKNOWN.
Return to work carefully
Use the current in-game health information when deciding to train. The website does not estimate recovery from a diagnosis or substitute real-world veterinary advice for game rules.
Feed according to the horse, not a universal amount
In the developer-published traits reference, Easy Keeper needs less feed to hold condition and Hard Keeper needs more. Watch the in-game body-condition display instead of copying one feed amount to the whole herd. Exact feed quantities and the release-specific illness threshold remain unverified.

Where the care controls appear
At 5 seconds, the grooming scene shows a brush over visible dirt on Kizzy and the tool tray to the right. At 15 seconds, the horse screen offers Groom, Feed, Medical, Manage, Edit Tack and Exercise. Use the relevant control for care and inspect the horse before selecting Exercise; the trailer does not demonstrate every injury treatment.
